Who do I contact if I want my Lakeland student to return to their local (resident District) school?

Lakeland School is an IEP placement option for residents of one of the 15 school districts in Walworth County. Students are placed in programs such as Lakeland School, based on an IEP team determination of need. Lakeland School is one option within a range of services. Less restrictive, mainstream options are always considered as part of a student's placement decision. Parents and other members of the IEP team are encouraged to explore all options to endorse the program and placement most appropriate for each student. If you would like to discuss placement within /return to your District of Residence, please contact the Assistant Director of Special Education at 262-741-4118 or your Walworth County School District.
