Walworth County Appliance & Electronics Recycling Event

Walworth County will host an appliance and electronics recycling event on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 9 a.m. to noon. 

The event will be held at the Walworth County Department of Public Works at W4097 County Road NN Elkhorn, WI 53121.

Unless otherwise noted, recycling of all appliances, electronics, and lawn equipment will be free.

Items That Can Be Recycled:

Appliances & Lawn Equipment

  • Air conditioners
  • Car batteries 
  • Commercial A/C units
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Dishwashers
  • Dryers
  • Exercise equipment
  • Freezers
  • Furnaces
  • Grills (no propane tanks accepted)
  • Push lawn mowers *
  • Range tops/stoves/ovens
  • Refrigerators
  • Snow blowers *
  • Washers
  • Water coolers
  • Water heaters (no water softeners)

* No riding lawn mowers accepted. All gas and oils must be removed prior to drop off.


Only items listed below will be accepted. Household items only (no business materials). Cash only, no credit/debit cards or checks will be accepted. No broken TVs, monitors or disassembled materials will be accepted.
