Welcome to The Pulse on Public Health blog brought to you by Walworth County Health and Human Services Division of Public Health. We are excited to share this platform with you and give you a closer look at who we are and what we do. Many community members know more about our division due to COVID-19, but we do much more in addition to pandemic response. We are a small but mighty group here at Walworth County Health and Human Services. Our division is made up of a few teams, Community Health, Environmental Health, Nursing and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), but we all share one mission: To equitably protect, promote, empower, and engage all individuals and communities for optimal health and wellbeing. We will be taking a deeper dive into our Public Health teams in later blog posts.
The Pulse on Public Health will feature timely health education and information, give examples of our work with partners and the community, and explore the breadth of programs and services we provide. Our blog will be available on our website and through our Facebook page on a regular schedule. You may also subscribe via email. To subscribe click on the RSS Feeds button on the right, then click on the The Pulse on Public Health Blog. We hope you will follow along!
