Veteran's Park

About the Park

Veteran’s Park is the heart of downtown Elkhorn and is a great example of how nature can exist and thrive in an urban setting. The Park’s urban forest is a relaxing, peaceful spot that is enjoyed by both people and wildlife. Through thoughtful care and planning, the park’s forest can and will continue to be a great asset for all to use and enjoy.

Park Reservations

Veteran's Park may be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis through approval of a Facility Use Permit.  Proof of insurance must also be provided.  

To request a reservation:

• Complete the Application for Use of County-Owned Property and Contract (PDF)
• Indicate the area(s) you wish to reserve on the Veteran's Park Map (PDF)
• Provide your Certificate of Liability Insurance.  To obtain the Certificate, provide Walworth County's Insurance Requirements (PDF) to your insurer.
