Property that was taken due to a criminal investigation conducted by the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office may be released after the case has concluded and all appeal timelines have passed. Property taken as a result of any other circumstance may be released to the appropriate owner at any time.
To retrieve property email the Property Clerk or call 262-741-4466. You must schedule an appointment. Appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. most days.
