About Us
The Employee Wellness Council is a volunteer committee made up of employees from various departments throughout the County. The Wellness Council meets on a bimonthly basis to share ideas on how to provide our employees with creative opportunities to improve and sustain personal health and wellbeing.
 

 

 

 

Are You Ready to Give it Your All?

Overview:

1. Form a 3 to 6 member Biggest Loser team with family and friends and designate a captain

2. E-mail your team roster and team starting weight to Seth at srehbaum@co.walworth.wi.us *Individual results will not be collected or used*

3. Make small, realistic, long-lasting changes to your diet and exercise habits.

4. Track your team's results.

5. Get entered into weekly prize drawings and compete for grand prizes.

6. Celebrate a healthier you!

  11/3 - 1/19   Pi Yo Stretch   Pi Yo Stretch is a combination of Pilates, Yoga, and stretching designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Release stress and leave energized. This class is geared for most fitness levels and can easily be modified.   Click here  
 
 
  11/11 - 1/20   Piloxing   This program blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. Add to that exhilarating dance moves, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered! This group is led by Rachel Czys and meets on Tuesday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm.   Click Here

  1/15 - 4/16    Yoga - Mastering the Basics    If you've ever wondered how yoga can benefit you, attend this class to learn about the perennial wisdom of this ancient discipline. Come enjoy this gentle yet challenging practice led by Suzanne Harrington, our instructor certified by the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center.
