About Us
The Employee Wellness Council is a volunteer committee made up of employees from various departments throughout the County. The Wellness Council meets on a bimonthly basis to share ideas on how to provide our employees with creative opportunities to improve and sustain personal health and wellbeing.

Thursdays Yoga - Mastering the Basics  If you've ever wondered how yoga can benefit you, attend this class to learn about the perennial wisdom of this ancient discipline. Come enjoy this gentle yet challenging practice led by Suzanne Harrington, our instructor certified by the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center. This class meets every Thursday at 5:30 PM at the Government Center. Info
 
 
  6/15 - 8/3   Piloxing   This program blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. Add to that exhilarating dance moves, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered! This group is led by Rachel Czys and meets on Monday nights and Tuesday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm. Bring a yoga mat or towel for floor stretches.   Info  
 
 
  6/15 - 8/3   Pi Yo Stretch   This combination of Pilates, yoga, and stretching is designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. Participants release stress and leave energized. This class is geared for most fitness levels and can easily be modified. This group meets on Mondays from 11:30 am - Noon. Bring a yoga mat or towel for floor stretches.   Info  
 
 
  June - August   Wellness Walks   Join the Wellness Council after work on the last Wednesday of every month all summer long for a visit to our Walworth County parks! A different location each month! Check out the flyer for complete details!   Info
