The Employee Wellness Council is a volunteer committee made up of employees from various departments throughout the County. The Wellness Council meets on a bimonthly basis to share ideas on how to provide our employees with creative opportunities to improve and sustain personal health and wellbeing.

  05/21/2016   Get Fit 5K   The Get Fit 5K Trail Run/Walk is open to participants of all ages. Free t-shirt if registered by May 13th. The Wellness Council invites all employers in Walworth County to compete in the Get Fit Employer Challenge. Click here for challenge details.   Info  

  Mondays   Pi Yo Stretch   This combination of Pilates, yoga, and stretching is designed to improve strength, balance, and flexibility. Participants release stress and leave energized. This class is geared for most fitness levels and can easily be modified. This group meets on Mondays from Noon - 12:30 in the auditorium at the Health and Human Services building. Bring a yoga mat or towel for floor stretches.   Cost is $29 per session or $6 to walk in.
Session: April 4 - May 9

Mondays   Zumba Toning + Core   Zumba Fitness blends red-hot international music and contagious steps to create a "fitness-party" that is downright addictive and perfect for most fitness levels. There's no other class like it! This class features simpler dance routines and focuses on toning more than dance while still retaining all the fun of the traditional Zumba atmosphere. Join now and party your way into shape. No dance experience necessary!
Sessions are held Monday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm. Contact instructor for room details.
Session: May 2 - June 13 (No class on May 30)
Wednesdays Piloxing This program blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. Add to that exhilarating dance moves, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered! This group is led by Rachel Czys and meets on Wednesday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm. Contact instructor for room details.  Bring a yoga mat or towel for floor stretches.
