The Employee Wellness Council is a volunteer committee made up of employees from various departments throughout the County. The Wellness Council meets on a bimonthly basis to share ideas on how to provide our employees with creative opportunities to improve and sustain personal health and wellbeing.

  9/18 - 12/18    Yoga - Mastering the Basics    If you've ever wondered how yoga can benefit you, attend this class to learn about the perennial wisdom of this ancient discipline. Come enjoy this gentle yet challenging practice led by Suzanne Harrington, our instructor certified by the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center. This class meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of every month   Click Here   
  11/3 - 1/19   Pi Yo Stretch   Pi Yo Stretch is a combination of Pilates, Yoga, and stretching designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Release stress and leave energized. This class is geared for most fitness levels and can easily be modified.   Click here  
  11/10 - 12/22   ZUMBA   Join this fun-filled, 1 hour, calorie blasting, Latin inspired dance fitness craze led by licensed Zumba instructor, Andrea Harris! This group meets on Monday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm.   Click Here  
  11/11 - 1/20   Piloxing   This program blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. Add to that exhilarating dance moves, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered! This group is led by Rachel Czys and meets on Tuesday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm.   Click Here
