About Us
The Employee Wellness Council is a volunteer committee made up of employees from various departments throughout the County. The Wellness Council meets on a bimonthly basis to share ideas on how to provide our employees with creative opportunities to improve and sustain personal health and wellbeing.

Thursdays Yoga - Mastering the Basics  If you've ever wondered how yoga can benefit you, attend this class to learn about the perennial wisdom of this ancient discipline. Come enjoy this gentle yet challenging practice led by Suzanne Harrington, our instructor certified by the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center. This class meets every Thursdays at 5:30 PM at the Government Center. Info
 
 
  2/9 - 3/30   Pi Yo Stretch   Pi Yo Stretch is a combination of Pilates, Yoga, and stretching designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Release stress and leave energized. This class is geared for most fitness levels and can easily be modified.   Info  
 
 
  3/24 - 5/12   Piloxing   This program blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. Add to that exhilarating dance moves, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered! This group is led by Rachel Czys and meets on Tuesday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm.   Info  
 
 
  4/6 - 5/11   Pilates Fusion   Join us for a 45 minute class, fusing Pilates style movements with core & lower body exercises to provide a balance, no impact workout. These exercises will help strengthen your whole body while also improving flexibility. This class meets on Mondays at 5:15 PM at the Government Center.   Info
