The Employee Wellness Council is a volunteer committee made up of employees from various departments throughout the County. The Wellness Council meets on a bimonthly basis to share ideas on how to provide our employees with creative opportunities to improve and sustain personal health and wellbeing.

  10/09   Stress Management LnL   Everyone has stress, but not everyone knows how to manage it. Become more self-aware, change destructive thinking patterns, and begin to develop a stress management plan that works for you.   Click Here  
  9/15 - 10/20   ZUMBA   Join this fun-filled, 1 hour, calorie blasting, Latin inspired dance fitness craze led by licensed Zumba instructor, Andrea Harris! This group meets on Monday nights at the Government Center at 5:15 pm.   Click Here  
  9/16 - 11/4   Piloxing   This program blends the power, speed, and agility of boxing with the targeted sculpting and flexibility of pilates. Add to that exhilarating dance moves, and you have a muscle-toning, fat-burning workout that will make you feel physically and mentally empowered!   9/18 - 12/18    Yoga - Mastering the Basics    If you've ever wondered how yoga can benefit you, attend this class to learn about the perennial wisdom of this ancient discipline. Come enjoy this gentle yet challenging practice led by Suzanne Harrington, our instructor certified by the Himalayan Yoga and Meditation Center.
