Child Safety Seat Information
The Sheriff's Office has two Certified Child Passenger Seat
Technicians, Deputy Dan Nelson and Correctional Officer Mike Recklies. To
contact either of them, please call our Child Safety Seat Hotline (262)
741-4855. The second Monday of every month is designated for checks.
Alternate arrangements may be made to schedule an appointment. To schedule a car seat check,

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) has
announced the launch of a new Web site, "Car
Seat Safety for Kids." Created in partnership by the Center for Injury
Research and Prevention and the Kohl's Injury Prevention Program at CHOP,
the site is designed to be a "one-stop-shop" at CHOP that houses all of
their online information and resources on child passenger safety. The site
reflects current best practices and child passenger safety tech training and
also includes CHOP's popular videos "Keeping Kids Safe in Crashes" which
have been fully updated based on current American Academy of Pediatrics
(AAP) recommendations. Click
