Canine Unit
The Unit provides services to other departments within the county including building searches, narcotic searches, tracking, and other canine skills. School Districts throughout the county use the canine unit's narcotic skills by requesting locker and vehicle searches on school grounds. The unit has been successful in the location of narcotics during these searches.
In addition to the handling
of their canine partners, Deputies Wierenga and Hintz continue to meet their
obligations as officers in the Patrol Division.
The Canine Unit is available for demonstrations to civic organizations and schools throughout Walworth County. For more information on the
