TIS THE SEASON TO BE JOLLY!!!

Thank you to all of the families that attended Parent-Teacher Conferences!  The relationships we continue to build as a team between Family and School are so important in the development of our Lakeland Students.  Thanks for all of your support and dedication!!!!

An important reminder is that the PRINCIPAL'S COFFEE has been cancelled for Thursday, December 14th as I will be attending a Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports workshop in Pewaukee!  I look forward to seeing you at the next PRINCIPAL'S COFFEE scheduled for January 25th.

Lakeland School is so thankful for the support we receive from our community year-round, but it is extremely noticeable and arppreciative around the holidays.  Jutta Rupe, Helen Vigansky, Elkhorn Lion's Club, Seeds of Hope, and F.O.L.S. Waffles With Santa, are just a few of the many supporters of Lakeland School during our Holiday Season.  We are so thankful for everything that they do! This is a photo of the wreaths our LS You students made while working at Seeds of Hope.

Parents/Guardians,

We have officially reached the last week of summer school! We had a blast at the movie last week. The Plaza Theatre in Burlington really knows how to take care of their customers. We have had such an enjoyable time working with your child this summer and hope you are able to enjoy the remainder of your summer. We will be celebrating the end of summer school by having a field game experience along with a cookout on Friday. Registration packets are being sent out and soon our doors will be opening for the 2017-2108 school year!

SUMMER SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We had a wonderful time bowling last week! The Lake Geneva Lanes does a remarkable job of accommodating all of us. Our next field trip will be this Thursday, July 20th, as we will be heading to the Plaza Theatre in Burlington to see the movie, "DESPICABLE ME 3" rated PG. Do not send money as popcorn and soda will be provided.

SUMMER SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

Parents/Guardians,

I hope you are as excited about summer school as the teachers, aides and volunteers are. Our summer school staff includes most of our current staff as well as a few new faces. Everyone is looking forward to the opportunity to work with your child and/or adult this summer. We will be taking two field trips during summer school, as well as having a cookout our last week. Our first field trip will be on Friday, July 14th, as we will be heading to the Lake Geneva Lanes to go bowling.
All students need to be wearing socks or bring them along to participate in bowling.
This is an activity we do every summer and the students love it! Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at 262-741-4118.

Monday, April 3, 2017

Greetings from the office of Mr. Conrardy or Mr. C.  My name is Mr. Matthew (Matt) Conrardy.  Since I’m the new person on campus, I thought it would be appropriate for you to know a few things about myself.

I am originally from Racine, WI. and graduated in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with a degree in Elementary Education.  In 2008, I completed my Master’s Degree through Aurora University with a Master’s in Educational Leadership. This is my 14th year in education.  For the last 11 years I was both a second and fifth grade teacher at Eastview Elementary in Lake Geneva.  I also taught three years in Carson City, NV before returning to Wisconsin in 2006.

I have been married for thirteen years to my wonderful wife, who is also a teacher/interventionist in the Muskego School District.  We have a very active nine- year-old son who is a third grader this year.  In my free time I enjoy doing outdoor activities with my family including hunting, hiking, camping, and cheering on the Chicago Bears.  Well, the Chicago Bears part isn’t a family activity since my wife happens to be a Packer fan!

I’m really looking forward to becoming an active part of the Lakeland School Family.  Please don’t hesitate to stop in or discuss any questions you may have throughout the year.  I look forward to this opportunity to work with all of you.

Sincerely,

Matt Conrardy
