DHHS nursing staff assist
psychiatric prescribers, other professional mental health staff and
consumers with medication-related issues. Nurses provide an array of
services which includes:
consumers with obtaining medications
Monitoring for medication side effects
Administration of injections
Weekly clozaril clinic
Checking vital signs
Monitoring of laboratory reports
In addition, the Patient Assistance Program (PAP) assists qualified
individuals with obtaining free medications.
A nurse is available Monday
through Friday 8:30a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To contact the nursing department
