Economic
Support

The Economic Support program helps clients to
apply for
Medical Assistance, Food Stamps, and BadgerCare, a program
that
provides health insurance to those with low income and no
health
insurance.
Economic Support also helps clients with help in paying
fuel
and electric bills through the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance
Program (WHEAP).
Clients seeking services through the Wisconsin Works (W-2)
program
are referred to the Walworth County Job Service Center
at 262-723-3611. For information
about W-2 and other work-related programs click on the work assistance link.
Through the Holiday Care program clients can receive
gift
certificates for food as well as gifts for children during the
Thanksgiving and Christmas season.
