Developmental Disability Services
DHHS serves children with developmental
disability through the Birth to Three program. The public school system serves
children with developmental problems between ages 3 and 21. Once adults
with developmental disability leave public education, they may be served
through DHHS programs that
help them to live with as much independence and self-sufficiency as
possible.
