Emergency placement
If a child is unable to remain with
the birth parents(s) or another appropriate caregiver, DHHS will arrange
for an emergency placement for three days or less in a regulated setting
of no more than four beds.
Regular Foster Care
For a child unable to remain with the birth parent(s)
or another appropriate caregiver the Walworth County courts may approve
a short-term placement of the child in a regulated setting of no more
than four beds.
Respite Care Services
Respite Care provides temporary relief for the
primary caregiver of a dependent person, including a child. Respite care
is provided in a home-like environment, which may be the dependent
person's natural home, a foster home, or a Community-based Residential
