Children's Services
DHHS provides family-focused efforts to promote
safe and stable environments for children and youth. Earliest services begin
with Parent Connections, an educational program for individuals and families
who are having babies. Children with developmental problems are served by the Birth to Three program.
The Children's Services unit also investigates cases of alleged child abuse and
neglect, and works closely with
the Walworth County court system to assist in placing and supervising children in
out-of-home settings. Staff also provide supervision of juveniles involved with the
court system.
