ATTENTION
VIETNAM VETERANS
If you served in Vietnam between January 9, 1962 and
May 7, 1975, you are presumed to have been exposed to Agent Orange. The
following conditions may be considered as "service-connected" based on that
exposure:
- Chloracne (manifest within one year of leaving
Vietnam)
- Acute and subacute peripheral neuropathy
(manifest within one year)
- Porphyria cutanea tarda (manifest within one
year)
- Hodgkins disease
- Non-hodgkins lymphoma
- Multiple myeloma
- Soft tissue sarcoma
- Respiratory cancers of the lung, bronchus,
larynx or trachea
- Prostate cancer
- Type II diabetes
- Chronic lymphocytic leukemia
- Ischemic heart disease
- Parkinson's Disease
- B Cell leukemia
Children of Vietnam veterans born with spina bifida
(other than spina bifida occulta) are entitled to a monthly allowance.
Children of female Vietnam veterans born with certain other birth defects
may also be eligible for these benefits.
