MISSION STATEMENT

• To provide the official county repository for documents of significance to both the community as a whole and to its individual citizens, including:

1. real estate records

2. vital records (birth, death, marriage, and domestic partnership records)

3. military discharges

4. personal property records that are real estate related (Uniform Commercial Code)

• Provide safe, archival storage and convenient access to these records

• Maintain accurate ownership and legal description information for all Walworth County real estate parcels

• Implement statutory changes, system modernization, and analysis of programs and procedures to assure efficient and timely service for users
