Investment staff make recommendations in keeping with the county's objectives of diversification and safety of investments. Internal controls are enforced to ensure compliance with standards of prudence and investment parameters established through the county’s Code of Ordinances. Staff utilize an extensive selection process to determine prudent investments to provide a high rate of return.
